Killiney Mixed – Geraldine and Colm Mulcahy came up just short in the final to be runners up this year. Still a fine achievement and thanks to all the members who turned up last Friday in support.
Challenge Cup team, with Monica Smith Manager had a great win in Woodbrook over the Castle 3/2
Revive Trophy: with Ciara Marmion as Manager were beaten by Powerscourt 2/3
Mary McKenna, with Laura Langrell as Manager were narrowly beaten by Carlow, in Carlow 2/3
Boyne Trophy, with Helen Lush as Manager were beaten by Bray
Cullen Cup Trophy, Managed by Pat Mahon & Rita Beaten were beaten by Ballinascorney, in Ballinascorney.
Killiney Mixed Foursomes
Best of luck to Ger and Colm Mulcahy who play today in the semi final of the Killiney Mixed Foursomes at 4.40 at Killiney Golf Club. They have won 4 successive matches to get to this point. A fine achievement so far in an event that Greystones has a good record in. All support welcome!

Minor Cup: Minor Cup Team managed by Niamh Keilthy was narrowly beaten (2/3) in Charlesland by Castle Golf Club.
It was a fantastic match with the last match being lost on the 19th.
Intermediate Cup: Intermediate Cup Team managed by Michele Knapp had a fantastic win (4/1) in Castle Golf Club against Charlesland Golf Club.
Well played by both teams.

Mary McKenna, managed by Laura Langrell had a great win in Greystones against Druids Heath. We had Home advantage on all 5 games.
Sunday 22nd
Senior Foursomes Cup, managed by Marguerite Hamill. Lost 1/2
Against Killeen Golf Club in Craddockstown.
It was a very tight contrast with all 3 matches going to the 18th hole.

Sunday 22nd
A big win by Martin Commons Metropolitan Cup team who delivered on the day to defeat Charlsland 7-2. His team had a great mix of youth and experience. Well done all.

Saturday April 7th – Our Mixed Team played against Woodbrook but sadly were beaten.
Sunday April 8th – Our Junior Cup Team played in Druid’s Heath against Old Conna and were narrowly beaten; 2 matches going to the 18th. Hard luck to our Junior Cup Team.
Saturday April 14th – Our Challenge Cup team played in Bray against Kilmashogue Golf Club at 14.15 and they had a great win. Next match May 20th v Castle at Woodbrook Golf Club.
The Fred Daly match was played in Greystones which started at 15.40. They were successful. Well done to both teams.
Sunday April 15th – We had two matches:-
1. The Intermediate Cup Team played Milltown in Royal Tara Golf Club at 12.30 and had a great win. Next match May 13th v Charlesland at Castle Golf Club.
2. The Minor Cup Team played Edmonstown in Delgany Golf Club at 14.00 and were also successful. Next Match May 13th v Castle at Charlesland Golf Club.

Team news from last weekend
Mixed fortunes for two of our teams last weekend. On Saturday our Irish Mixed team lost out to Woodbrook following a keenly fought battle with 3 matches away from home. Hard luck to all involved and thanks to the managers Sean and Nuala for all of their efforts. On Sunday, the Barton Cup team staged a very strong fightback to defeat Old Conna, with once again 3 of the 5 matches away. Well done to Mick Whelan and the panel on a fantastic effort. The match was secured when Greystones won two matches away following victory in the first home match. The other games were called in.
