On a cool day our Fitzgibbon Cup took on Bray golf club. Paul Keane again sent out a team with some new pairings. After a difficult start to most of the matches Greystones ran out clear winners by a margin of 4.5 to 1.5. The results were as follows:

Paul Keane will send our Fitzgibbon Cup team out to do battle with Bray Golf Club on Sunday 25th February at 1.20pm. There will be three foursomes matches at home and three away. After a creditable draw with Old Conna it would be nice to get a win under our belts here.

On a rare pleasant day of late our Darcy Trophy team travelled to Powerscourt for an early start. In what was a tight match overall as two matches finished on 18 and two more on 17 Greystones came out on top by a score of 3 to 2. This means that Karl Holmes squad have qualified for the semi finals with two matches to spare.

Today our Fitzgibbon Cup team began the defence of their trophy against Old Conna with three matches at home and three matches away. Paul Keane sent out some new pairings with one eye on this year’s Barton Cup. Our pairings at home were

In what was a tightly fought match it ultimately finished in a 3-3 all draw.

A respectable draw and we move on to the next match on Sunday 25th February with tee off at 1.20pm. Again all support would be welcome home and away.
Karl Holmes sent his team out to do battle this morning. It was a day for wooly hats and mittens.
Alan Condren led out the team in the singles matches followed by Adam Packman and Dylan Holmes. The foursomes followed this with David Byrne partnering Jamie Anderson and Dan O’Byrne with Toby Murphy.
It turned out to be a convincing 5-0 win for Greystones, with Alan and Dylan both winning 5 & 3. Adam then completed the singles with a 2 & 1 win. In the foursomes David and Jamie had a convincing 5 & 4 win followed by Dan and Toby completing the clean sweep with a 2 & 1 win.
The next match will be against Powerscourt away on the 18th February.
