Great news for Greystones Golf Club and for Dylan Holmes this morning as the Leinster U16 Inter Provincial Team was announced. Dylan has been selected on the six man team, some achievement for the 14 year old.
The Inter-Pros will take place in Mount Wolseley on the 8th , 9th and 10th of October.

The 2021 Frank Talbot trophy competition was settled yesterday afternoon when D.J. Kelly & Malcolm Herron took on Robert Hennessy & David O’Brien in the final.
Yesterday’s final was a closely fought affair and and was only decided on the quickly darkening 18th where Robert & David ran out the winners.

Congratulations to the top four finishers in the Carrinson Cup Qualifier yesterday. These pairings will now play off for the 2021 Carrinson Cup.

Saturday saw the final Major of the year for the Junior Boys section with the running of President Pat O’Neill’s prize. There was a great turnout for this event and congratulations to all the participants and in particular to the overall winner Jamie Anderson. Jamie’s winning score of 40 points was only just enough to beat Hugh Gilmore into second ( 39 points ). Kallum McCormack, who also shot 39 points was beaten into third place on the back nine. Jack McGovern won the gross prize.
In the Red ( 14 hole ) section, Ruadhan Murray was the winner with a great score of 32 points beating Toby Lennon (26 points) into second place with Leo Murphy coming third with 26 points.
Noah O’Neill won first prize in the 9 hole, Whites section. Noah shot 19 points while Matthew Gormley came second with 12 points and Matt Smullen third with 11 points.
