Dylan Holmes has booked his place in the last four of the West of Ireland Championship at County Sligo Golf Club after two impressive wins today.
This morning, Dylan took on David Kitt in the last 16 and came through with a narrow 1up victory.
In the afternoon’s quarter-final, he faced Jonathan Keane. Dylan was 1 down at the turn but won the 15th to bring the match back to all square. The final three holes were halved, sending the match to extra holes.
On the 19th, Dylan found the left side off the tee and hit a great second shot into six feet. With both players on the green, Jonathan putted first and left himself a three-footer for par. Dylan then stepped up and rolled in his birdie putt to win the match.
He now faces Barry Anderson in the semi-final tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM.
