On a chilly and showery afternoon Managers Michael Whelan and Martin Nolan sent out their JB Carr team to take on Old Conna. In what proved to be a nerve wracking match with the final three matches finishing on the 18th Greystones squeezed through by a score of 3-2.

Henry Gilbert/Kevin Barry won 2up
Cathal Cooney/Denis Duff lost on 18
Colm Mulcahy/Colm Drew won on 18
So Greystones are through to be the next round which has to be played by the end of the month.
