On Thursday afternoon our JB Carr team traveled to Powerscourt in a second round match. It looked like a tough match and so it proved to be. Despite the final score, 4-1, looking like an easy win for Powerscourt in reality the matches were a lot closer than that. The results were as follows:
Walter Gilbert/Gerry Browner lost on 18
Colm Mulcahy/Gavan McGirr lost on 18
Paul Keane/John Burke lost 5&4
Kevin Barry/Jim Wood all square through 17 when called in
Dom Crotty/Ray Houlden one down playing 18 when called in.
