Sunday 17th March was our Drive-in where Captains Mark and Ciara appeared around the hedge on the 18th fairway on electric bikes and glided up the hill to rapturous applause.They were dressed in green from head to toe to represent our clubs’ aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible in 2024 and also to reflect our hope for a green pennant this year ! A great days entertainment was had by all dancing late into the evening .
The practice run for the drive-in was captured on camera by the Gardiner Brothers when they joined our team of captains in front of the club house to make a video …..which has had over 40,000 hits to date!
