On a cool morning Karl Holmes sent out his Darcy Cup team to compete against Dun Laoghaire. While the team have already qualified for the semi-final on the 7th April it’s important to keep the positive mood going.
Overall it was a close match with the exception of the first match out which was won by Alan Condren 6&5.
So it was a happy manager after Greystones won 3.5 to 1.5. The results were as follows:
Alan Condren won 6&5
David Byrne won 2&1
Dylan Holmes lost 3&2
Adam Packman/Darren McCormack halved match
Shane O’Connor/Jamie Anderson won 2&1
So put the 7th April in your diary, semi-finals will be early in the morning with the victors playing the final later that afternoon. All matches to take place in Greystones Golf Club.
