Congratulations to our past Lady Captains team who won out today in the Co. Wicklow Past Lady Captains event.
Today’s competition, kindly hosted by Woodenbridge Golf Club, was the 40th running of the event. It’s been a while since Greystones won this title, 37 years to be exact, so today’s victory was all the sweeter.
The team representing Greystones today were, Mary O’Sullivan (who managed the team and the event for Greystones) & Laura Langrell, Monica Smith & Amanda Lawless and Angela Shaw who played with Celine Joyce.
The Greystones team shot an excellent 85 points, 7 points clear of second place.
