A brilliant performance from our Junior Cup team this morning (14th Sept) in their All-Ireland semi-final saw them win emphatically against Ulster Champions, Clandeboye.
Chris Lawless won, 2&1 after an excellent match in which he was never behind. Despite losing the first, William O’Riordan put in a top rate shift to win early by a margin of 5&4. It was Harry Kirk who earned the third point to win the overall tie on the sixteenth, 3&2.
Out on the course, Toby Murphy was two up through fourteen while Chris Boylan had just birdied fourteen to also get to two up when they were called in.
Congratulations to Brian Frawley, Ray Crotty, Collie Dunne and their entire squad.
A big day tomorrow when we face Limerick, who saw off Strabane this afternoon in the second Semi-Final.
Hopefully the lads can bring home a Green Pennant tomorrow.
Tee off in Knightsbrook is at 09.00 tomorrow.
