Many thanks to Shauna O’Neill and Paul from Edit, Laser & Skin Clinic who gave a most informative talk after lunch this afternoon on the interesting skin treatments that they off from their Sandyford clinic.
Before a very nice lunch two nine hole scrambles were played with prizes on offer compliments of Shauna and her Edit team.
Clear winners of the front nine were Lady Captain Celine, Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Stella Purcell & Debbie Byrne but the back nine prize had to be decided by ballot after two teams ended on exactly the same score and could not be separated by any normal count-back conventions. As luck would have it a representative of Golf Ireland was in the Clubhouse finalising preparations for the Wicklow Girls to give guidance on the matter.
As it turned out President Marguerite’s team of herself, Orla Rush, Susan O’Dwyer and Helge Hayden-Smyth were drawn as winners with Mary Gavin’s team of Mary, Ita Ryan, Jacinta Deane and Catherine Collins being the unlucky ones today. Both teams had 32.6 nett scores.
