Greystones GC & six local Primary Schools linked up to run arguably one of the the largest Junior Introductory to Golf Programme for primary school pupils in Ireland over that past month.
Over 150 primary school girls between 6 and 11 attended sessions at the club and Greystones Driving range over the past four of weeks to be given a chance to see if golf might be their game.
Golf Ireland funded the project but special thanks are due to Patrice Dowling, who managed the project on behalf of the junior committee, all the club members who kindly gave up their time to assist with coaching and of course to the club as a whole who provided the primary venue for the coaching. Big thanks also to David Lewis who provided the coaching and Karl Holmes who provided time in the range.
