A great day was had by all the ladies who attended the Easter Bonnet golf day today. Style was the order of the day for our amateur milliners with Terri Cullen, Geraldine Nelson, Janet Redmond and Doireann Maguire winning the bonnet competition, beating Iris Haughton, Mary Lockhart, Niamh Kielty and Anne Ashe into second place.
The golfing winners were Amanda Lawless, Angela Shaw, Ann Crotty and Aine O’Rourke on the front nine and Avril O’Farrell, Trudy Bolton, Mercedes Shelly and Von McDonald on the back nine.
Local company, Elysian Beauty gave beauty treatment demonstrations after a lovely lunch and this added even more to a great day.
