Hard luck to Orla Delaney’s minor team who came up against a very strong Kilmashogue team this afternoon in the first round of the competition. Kilmashoue have a strong pedigree in this particular competition, winning the competition outright as recently as 2019.
Joyce Kirwan was 2 down through fifteen and Monica Smith was 1 up through thirteen when they were called in at home. Trudy Bolton lost out at home and both away matches ( Aine O’Rourke and Ger Hickey ) went to Kilmashogue.
