Tomorrow’s singles will decide, among other things who wins this year’s Gold Medal, contenders for this are this year’s Silver Medal Winners:
Keith Lewis, Declan Murray, Kieran Dowdall, Kevin Hogan, Tom Byrne, Alan O’Sullivan and Peter Fry.
Scratch Cups will also be decided tomorrow. There are 4 players within 6 shots of Alan Condren in Class I (0-5), 15 players within 5 shots of Brian Frawley in Class II (6-12), 11 players within 7 shots of Antti Happonen in Class III (13-20) and 6 players within 11 shots of Peter Fry in Class IV.
Tomorrow’s competition could also very well decide the Golfer of the Year for 2021. With just tomorrow’s medal final and the final of President Pat O’Neill’s prize (to be played Sat 2nd Oct) remaining there are 7 players who can lift the trophy this year.
