Bar and Catering Facilities
Indoor bar facilities and catering facilities will be available from Tuesday 27th July. In line with government regulations indoor seating is only available for holders of valid documentation showing Proof of Immunity. This includes the EU Digital Covid Certificate and/or the HSE vaccination card. If you have not been vaccinated or do not have your Proof of Immunity to hand then you are welcome to use the balconies and outdoor seating areas. The wearing of face coverings remains mandatory in all indoor spaces including when checking in for golf in the Proshop. Face coverings can be removed once seated.
A maximum of 6 persons per table will be allowed. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adults providing Proof of Immunity. Larger groups with children under the age of 13 can be facilitated and must be booked in advance.
Bar opening hours are as follows:
Monday 12 pm Thursday 12 pm Sunday 11 am
Tuesday 11 am Friday 12 pm
Wednesday 10 am Saturday 10 am
In line with government restrictions the clubhouse will close at 11.30 pm each evening, by which time the carpark must be vacated and the gates will be closed. Last orders are 10.45.
The restaurant will be closed on Mondays and will open every other day at 12 pm.
These times are guidelines only and may vary depending on utilisation needs and weather conditions.
Booking a table in advance for dining is essential to enable records to be kept in line with regulations. Bookings can be made by phoning the bar on (01) 287 4136 (option 2) or restaurant on (01) 287 7479 or (01) 287 4136 (option 3). Members can also book their table when signing in for their round of golf. If you are inviting guests to dine please ensure they have photographic identification as well as Proof of Immunity. All guests must supply contact details to us the indoor facilities.
Please enter and exit the clubhouse according to the signage in place. Please wait to be seated. There will be table service only. The bar counter is not in use and orders cannot be taken at the bar.
All tables will seat a maximum of 6 people. It is not permitted to move from table to table and join others for a chat. Please note that the table settings cannot be altered in any way. The tables have been set up in line with the regulatory requirements.
All members are requested to show consideration to staff and assist them in implementing these regulations.
We have an air quality monitor in place and CO2 levels will be monitored and maintained at acceptable levels.
Access to the Course
The course is open to Members, Members’ Guests and Visitors.
Bookings must be made through the BRS system including rounds of casual golf.
Play on the course will only be permissible if a booking has been made. All golfers must check in at the Pro Shop prior to commencing play. If the Pro Shop is closed please check in at the bar.
The locker rooms will be open for access to the toilet facilities. The showers will remain closed until further notice.
Arrival and Departure
The main gate to the carpark will open 30 minutes before the first booked tee-time.
Do not arrive at the first tee more than 5 minutes before your allotted tee time. Please observe the social distancing markings in place on the 1st and 10th tees. Do not proceed onto any tee until the group in front has vacated.
The course will close 15 minutes after sunset each evening. Please vacate the car park if not using the facilities following your golf.
On The Course
Please adhere to all signage outlining the social distancing guidelines in place while on club grounds. Observe physical distancing at all times on the course. Do not enter the next teeing ground until all members of the group in front have played their tee-shots and exited the teeing ground. Do not exchange or share equipment, food or drink with other players during your round. Do not pick up another player’s equipment or golf ball.
Golfers are directed to leave the pin in the cup at all times. The local rule governing placing in bunkers will remain in place until further notice.
The course staff have priority on the course during working hours. Members are asked not to interact with staff on the course. All queries should be directed to the Operations Manager.
