Sunday ( 27th ) saw a crammed time-sheet for Captain Philip’s prize to the ladies.
This turned out to be hotly contested event with only one shot covering the first three players. Karen Purcell beat Regina Connaughton on the back nine to claim 2nd place, both Karen and Regina shot 71, but the winner on the day was Anne Costello who shot 70 off a Playing Handicap of 19. Marguerite Hamill won the gross with an 86.
